The Coordination Council for the development of transport system of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region

RF Government Decree dated April 4, 2011 № 241 the Coordinating Council for the development of the transport system in the city of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region (hereinafter - the Coordinating Council). The Coordination Council consists of a chairman, who is the Minister of Transport, Vice-Presidents, the executive secretary and board members. The composition of the Coordination Council of the Russian Federation approved by the Government. Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of April 21, 2011 № 679-p approved by the Coordination Council, which includes representatives of Ministry of Transport of Russia, the Russian Interior Ministry, the Ministry of Russia, Russian Ministry of Finance, Government of St. Petersburg, the Leningrad Region Government, government agencies and departments, scientific, design, public organizations, as well as representatives of business circles. Goals and objectives defined by the Statute of the Coordinating Council of the Coordinating Council. Coordinating Council carries out its activities in accordance with the rules and work plan, which is approved by the chairman.

Main goals:

Coordinating Council carries out its activities in accordance with the Program of development of transport system of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region for the period up to 2020 (hereinafter - the Program). The Programme of the greatest attention is paid to solving traffic problems at the intersection of Saint-Petersburg and Leningrad region, within the trunk road A-120, which is characterized by large volumes of pendulum migration with labor, business and educational purposes. In order to coordinate the activities of federal executive bodies, executive bodies of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region, for implementation of the Program, monitoring the implementation of the Coordination Council of the decisions by the Federal Government, the order of the Leningrad region and the decision of the Government of St.Petersburg Government was established ANO "Directorate the development of transport system of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region. "
