Aviation infrastructure development in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region

Project Description:

Design and implementation of a program aimed at development of aviation infrastructure in the territory of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region for organization of regional flights and flights to neighbouring countries.

Project objectives:

Increasing the attractiveness of public transport and the creation of prerequisites for the shift of the population when moving between the city and the region with private transport to public due to:

  • improving quality of service of the air transport route network in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, including routes to cities in neighbouring regions and countries

  • increasing investment attractiveness of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region;

  • improving quality of health services for citizens of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region due to increase in quality and operational efficiency of first aid;

  • improving flight safety.
  • improving control over use of the St. Petersburg airspace below flight level;
